Societies During the 22/23 Seasons
Your society will be more than welcome at any time (subject, of course, to the availability of tee times). Platinum competitions usually run until 2:30 on Saturdays and Gold Competitions until 2:30 on Wednesdays. To assist your planning and organisation, you can book a society (minimum number is 12 players) package up to a year in advance.

Bespoke Packages
Our entire team will collaborate with you to build your own bespoke package, including any vegetarian or special dietary requirements. Call for a no-obligation chat and we’ll let you know how we can help make your day a great one for all concerned. We can tailor a package just for you – perhaps twilight offers in the summer months, or bacon butties through Winter – whatever works for YOU and YOUR society.
Finishing Touches and Little Extras
Our ever helpful and highly knowledgeable professional, Tony Stevens, will be happy to help organise signage for “nearest the pin” and “longest drive”, for example. Tony can also provide you with a prize table in addition to individual hole prizes.
High Society

Davenport Golf Club is located in the East Cheshire village of Poynton, 8 miles from Manchester Airport.
The undulating course’s well-groomed fairways and greens provide a fair test to golfers of all ages and abilities. Set on both sides of a quiet country road, the par-69 parkland course measures 6,006 yards from the white tees and has a course rating of 69.70 and a slope rating of 117.
Below is one of the comments from their 2020 STRI report:
‘Since the Covid outbreak the club have had an excellent season and greens in particular have performed very well. This was confirmed by a set of superb performance data. Many clubs have struggled to develop good greens during such a wet summer however Paul and the team have worked well to complete planned work and produce the course as a whole to a high standard in spite of the weather.’
Davenport Golf Club offers a warm and friendly reception, and you are certain to be playing one of the driest courses in the area. It provides maximum year-round golf on fairways and the main greens. Davenport is rarely closed and plays on quick, well-drained fairways and greens.
