Ladies Section

With over 120 playing members across the various categories, you are guaranteed a warm welcome from our Ladies.

For ladies that are new to golf, we know how daunting it can be to take those first steps, our Ladies will work with you to help integrate you into the section, learn the rudiments of the game and give you the opportunity to meet others that are new to golf.

The Ladies will encourage you to take up the offer of a “buddy”, pairing you with an experienced Lady Golfer who will show you the ropes, introduce you to our other members and help you with the initial score cards to help you earn your first handicap.

Get Into Golf Ladies Group Coaching

Our excellent resident Golf Professional, Tony Stevens, runs group coaching every Saturday where you will have the opportunity to learn the skills required to get around our course in as few shots as possible and at a very reasonable price!

Women In Golf Charter

We were proud when in 2019 we became only the sixth club in Cheshire to have been awarded the England Golf “Women In Golf Charter” accreditation, confirming our commitment to encouraging and supporting more ladies into the wonderful sport of golf.

For more information about the England Golf “Women In Golf Charter”, please see our dedicated page.

Ladies Competition Days

Each Wednesday is Ladies competition day, where we run 9 hole and 18 hole competitions. There is also a weekly “rollup” on a Monday allowing you to meet new people and play with a wide range of players, helping you to improve your game. For those unable to play in the Wednesday competitions, we also run an “alternate day” competition to allow those with work commitments to easily maintain their handicap in a round with that competitive edge.

Other Club Representation

There are plenty of opportunities to represent the club, be it in regular inter-club friendlies, or in one of the many Cheshire and Manchester wide competitions, such as the Bell Cup and the Elizabeth Wilson Scratch knockout.

We operate an extremely simple joining process that doesn’t require any proposers or any need to attend an interview.

If you would like to find out more about our club, and our membership packages please contact our admin team who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
