We are lucky to have a fantastic and popular Mixed Golf Section with Bank Holiday and Evening competitions through the summer months and a Mixed Winter League during the winter.
The summer mixed competitions run on a Tuesday evening, played over eleven holes which are then followed by a meal and presentation.
The Mixed Section is well supported, very friendly and gives the opportunity after each competition to relax with friends and enjoy a meal together.
Annually there is our mixed major, the Founders Trophy, a drawn foursome’s competition, as well as further specialist mixed events spread throughout the year.
A highlight on the Mixed Section calendar is the yearly away day, to be held at Sickleholme Golf Club in 2022.
For those looking for an extra level of mixed golf competition who would like to represent the club, we also enter the Manchester and District Golf Alliance Archie Preston Knockouts, an event where we have enjoyed much success in previous years.
Single Golfer?
If you don’t already have a golf partner, we’re always looking for individuals to pair together in our mixed events.
We operate an extremely simple joining process that doesn’t require any proposers or any need to attend an interview.
