SOCIETIES 2019/20
Your society is welcome at any time subject to the availability of tee times. Gents competitions usually run until 2 or 2:30 on Saturdays and Ladies until 2 or 2:30 on Wednesdays. You can book a society (minimum number is 12 players) package up to a year in advance at the prices shown in the brochure which also includes a booking form, dinner menu and T&C’s.

FINISHING TOUCHES
Our professional, Tony Stevens, will be happy to help organise signs for “nearest the pin” and “longest drive” etc. Tony can also provide you with a prize table in addition to individual hole prize challenges.VISITORS
Visitors are welcome any day of the week at Davenport, subject to tee;time availability.
Wednesday and Saturday are the main Club competition days.
We are proud of the facilities we offer and we want you to enjoy your time with us both on the course and in the Club House.
For the benefit of all our members and guests, we would ask you to comply with the following etiquette and guidelines particularly if you are playing the course for the first time.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones must not be used while on the course, except in the case of emergencies.
While in the Clubhouse lounges and Dining rooms mobile phones;must;be kept on silent and calls and should be made or taken elsewhere.
Dress Code
On the course
Golfing attire is required for all players. Denim, combat trousers, three quarter length cargo trousers,tracksuits, t-shirts, rugby and football shirts are not permitted on the course at any time.
All items of clothing produced specifically for golf will be seen as acceptable.
Smart casual (including smart denim) is the expected dress code; on some occasions more formal attire may be required. The following are not permitted at any time; torn denims, hats or caps, tracksuits, rugby and football shirts and beachwear.
Information on tees of the day, temporary local rules, course works or anything else that affects play is on the notice board on the Pro Shop wall adjacent to the practice putting green. Please check before you tee off.
By the green, follow the path on the left around the back of the 1st green to the 2nd tee.
Please repair all pitch marks and rake bunkers. All divots on fairways must be replaced and use the sand/seed mix in the boxes provided on each tee to repair divots in the teeing area.
All players must read the Risk Assessment guidelines and follow the instructions therein.
